Coast-to-coast sponsored cycle

A big thanks and well done to Lisa Smith and Maryrose Brennan from GSK.
They successfully completed the Tynemouth to Whitehaven bike ride recently and raised a whopping £900 for the charity. Every penny will go towards helping people in The Gambia and a large sum such as £900 will go a long way.

Irish night success

Despite stiff competition from numerous firework displays there was a good size crowd at the annual Irish music night at Hertford cricket club.
The charity managed to raise over £250.

Our thanks go to everyone who supported the event especially the band - who were brilliant as usual and the bar staff.

We look forward to seeing you all next year!

We have just returned from The Gambia after another fun filled trip. While we were there we had the opening ceremony for Oakes Helping nursery at Chamin and went to see the progress of the building work for the new Osborne Helping Nursery at Yassa.
