The Opening of Osborne HELPING Nursery

Hi All

As Im sure your aware, Gavin and I got married last August, we asked our friends and family for donations instead of presents to build a nursery school out in The Gambia. Thanks to everyone that gave us a donation we were able to open the Osborne HELPING Nursery in the village of Fass on Thursday 13th March 08. The day was fantastic and our 87 new kids at the nursery each received a free purple school uniform and looked gorgeous. Our teachers and the children at the school would also like to say a big thank you to everyone.

We are still looking for sponsors for many of the children, one of our teachers, cooks and our helper lady who is responsible for making sure the children have clean water to drink and to maintain good sanitary practice to help prevent any of the children from getting ill.
