Thank you all

Thanks to everyone who turned up and made the HELPING Quiz Night such a success. We had 13 teams (around 100 people) playing and two teams managed to dead heat for the first prize.

We raised the grand total of £725 which will give nursery lunches to a lot of children. We also had a donation from Mrs L Roache (who sponsors one of our children), she had been fund raising at Johnson Diversey where she works and she presented HELPING with a cheque for £490. Thank you.

Special thanks to Amanda and John for their hard work in running such an entertaining (and hard) quiz and to Sarah, Lisa and Margaret who organised leaflets and the Ploughmans supper and to the other committee members who helped make this a successful evening.

A note for the future, our next Quiz Night will be on Saturday 20th September 2008, so please keep this date free.
